Greg: Sorry to hear that. My recommendation for the long term is to get a high speed connection if it's available in your area. For the short term, I'm thinking about releasing a lower quality version of the show that will be easily downloadable for people on dial up... so stay tuned!

Steven: Thanks for the comments. Our next recording is today, so look for the post tomorrow.

Hail and well met!

Excellent first run, gentlemen. Bill's shining devotion to nerdiness is a role model for the rest of us. Recommendations for the next podcast:
1.Definition of "Mature Man's" powers, abilities, history, enemies, etc.
2.Yoda's darker side revealed
3.A few more ice-cold ones from the cooler for both of ya.

Thanks and keep 'em coming!

Good call, Vulcore.
I think we're finding out that everything Bill knows, he learned from comic books.

As far as the Hulk in space:

The inconsistency isn't limited to Hulk comics. In some very early issues of the Uncanny X-Men (I loaned out my graphic novel so I can't reference), the team goes in to space to fight the Sentinels.

Long story short: they get sucked in to space... and don't die instantly.

okay, first things first Bill - even when you are unconscious you definitely still need to breath. Otherwise we would all die when we go to sleep at night - the body does breathing automatically for us so we don't have to worry about it. That is in reference to his thought of why the Hulk was fine in space with no air because he got knocked out by spidey - secondly, I think we have revealed a inconsistency in the Marvel universe. I have an old comic from mid 90's i think (i'd have to actually find it to be sure) but in that comic the Hulk happens to be falling from outer space back to the Earth (seems to be a daily occurence for him) but he has an air tank on his back and is breathing oxygen. He runs out of air and has to hold his breath until he gets back into the atmosphere. His super tough hide was able to withstand re-entry but his clothes burned off - gross! So way to go on that one marvel.
